Blake Lively seen in San Diego, CA on Jul 24 2010.
Blake Lively was seen posing for photographers as she made an appearance at Comic-Con, held at the San Diego Convention Center, on July 24. Hitting up Comic-Con to promote her upcoming film Green Lantern with co-stars Ryan Reynolds, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong and director Martin Campbell, Blake sat on a panel with her peers discussing the project with the press. For her ensemble, Blake decided to give the fan boys what they want, and donned a cleavage-bearing white top that she paired with high waisted trousers and black and white strappy heels. Blake has been criticized for exposing a little too much at Comic-Con this year - do you agree with this criticism, or are you a member of the "if you've got it, flaunt it" school of thought? To get Blake's look, pair black trousers (like Gold Hawk's Relaxed Trouser in Kohl Black or Wish's Bullion Pant in Black) with a black waist belt (try Motif 56's Double Sima Belt in Black) and a tucked in white top (Quiksilver's Wasteland Tank in White isn't quite as revealing as Blake's, but it's still super cute). Accessory wise, make sure that your wrist is adorned with a variety of bracelets and bangles, such as Amrita Singh's India Bangle Set in Silver and Alex and Ani's Bauhaus Limited Edition Bangle Set in Multi. Turquoise drop earrings completed Blake's look. What are your thoughts on BL's Comic-Con 'fit, readers? I'm dying to hear what you think! Blake has been discussing the film at length, singing the movie's praises and saying how unique it is. Blake says, "That's what's so nice about it. Superhero movies, you're either in a specific city on planet Earth, or in space. But the fact that you get to go back and forth in 'Green Lantern' is a unique thing that you haven't seen in many movies." She continues, "The relationship between my character and the Green Lantern/Hal Jordan - Ryan Reynolds' character - has a really interesting dynamic. She's Jordan's boss and she's also a fighter pilot. She's only second to him. They're the top two pilots in the world. So she's also his rival, and so it creates a really interesting dynamic and a cool tension." As nerdy as it sounds, I'm actually really excited to check out Blake in a role other than Serena van der Woodsen!
