Katie Holmes seen in Beverly Hills, CA on Jul 25 2010.
Getting back to business, Katie Holmes keeps it casual during a lengthy meeting at the Sunset Towers in Beverly Hills on July 25. Katie just returned to LA after spending a few weeks in Canada filming scenes for the docu-mini series The Kennedys, in which she will portray the iconic Jackie Kennedy. K arrived for her meeting at the towers in an easy white v-neck (can't go wrong with C&C California's basic Short Sleeve V Neck Tee in White) tucked into distressed skinny jeans (check out 7 For All Mankind's newest distressed jean Roxanne in Oil Stain Indigo) with black ankle boots (I'm drooling over Apepazza's peeptoe ankle bootie Lisbona in Black). Katie accessorized with a ring necklace (Calico Juno's Necklace 200 in Silver makes a great addition to any look) and black tote (opt for Julie K's organized Leah in Black), carrying her Blackberry as she made her way to the door. K arrived showing off her new bangs, this time in a straightened look, which I have to say I much prefer to the super curly look she debuted at the NYC premiere of The Extra Man last week. Which hairstyle do you prefer? Katie has been spending a lot of time apart from her husband these days, with long days on the set while Tom jets around the globe on an international press tour for Knight and Day with Cameron Diaz. Despite all the negative press they've endured since they married almost 5 years ago, I think it's definitely official they aren't going anywhere for awhile. Katie's upbeat outlook might have something to do with it, with Wenn pulling up an old quote from Glamour to sum up her attitude: "I feel really, really lucky. I feel the best response [to all the stories] is just going about my life: enjoying life, making movies, being a good mom and good wife, and focusing on that. Because if you're doing well, what can they say?" Mum's the word over here!
